Compliance Obligations Under Mesta's AML, CTF, and Sanctions Policies
Adherence to Anti-Money Laundering and Counter-Terrorist Financing Protocols : Clients are required to fully comply with Mesta’s Acceptable Use Policy and provisions of Mesta's Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Counter-Terrorist Financing (CTF), and Sanctions Screening policies. This obligation includes active participation in ongoing compliance monitoring and cooperation with any compliance investigations conducted by Mesta. Compliance with these protocols is essential to maintain the integrity and legality of operations under the frameworks that govern our services.
Restrictions on Prohibited Business Categories and Countries:
Clients are strictly prohibited as per Mesta’s Acceptable Use Policy from initiating or engaging in any business relationships or transactions with entities from categories or jurisdictions that are designated as prohibited not only under Mesta's AML policy but also those prohibited by our banking-as-a-service providers and their licensed service providers. This includes adhering to restrictions set forth by the regulatory licenses under which Mesta and its partners operate. A comprehensive and regularly updated list of these prohibited categories and jurisdictions is included in the onboarding documentation to ensure compliance with current regulatory changes and requirements.
